What’s New with 26/27 Kids Group Lessons
Kids Group Lessons are different this winter. They’re more flexible, give you back your time, and, new this year, families can build a six-day lesson program around their own schedule instead of building their schedule around the lessons.
That’s a big change and a big plus. For 2026/27, you have more control over what your day at Crystal actually looks like.
Maybe you leave your child with us for the full day, knowing lunch will be handled while you head higher up the mountain. Or maybe you choose our new 6-Lesson Bundle and leave behind the need to map out your lesson schedule months in advance.
You can use the lessons when they make sense for your family.
We’ve kept the structure your child needs to learn and progress. What we’ve changed is how much flexibility your family has around it.

One Less Thing to Plan: Parking Is Included
The new aspects of Kids Group Lessons start at the beginning of your trip. The mountain comes with enough logistics. Parking should not be another.
Every Kids Group Lesson includes a complimentary parking reservation for the lesson date, so you can arrive knowing your spot is taken care of.
It’s one less thing to book, one less thing to think about, and one more way we’re making Kids Group Lessons easier for families this winter.
Six Lessons. You Choose the Days.
The new 6-Lesson Bundles give your family six days of instruction without locking you into six predetermined dates.
You choose the dates. You choose who uses them. And if plans change, simply readjust.
The bundles can also be transferred and shared, giving you the freedom to decide how to structure your season. Because winter rarely behaves like the calendar you made for it in October.
A kid gets sick. A weekend disappears. The forecast changes. Family comes to town. Or you wake up to six inches of new snow and suddenly have a very different idea of how you want to spend the day.
You’re not buying six fixed dates. You’re buying six days of instruction and deciding when they make sense.
Want to create your own multi-week progression for your child without committing to the same schedule all season? Now you can.

Give Them the Full Day. Take Back Yours.
There’s another kind of flexibility built into Kids Group Lessons this winter.
Time.
With full-day options, your child gets a full day on the mountain with their group and instructor, with lunch included.
You get something increasingly rare on a family ski day: a stretch of the day that is actually yours.
Drop them off and head outside. The skis are already on your shoulder. The lifts are spinning. The mountain is opening up in front of you, and you don’t have to calculate how many runs you can squeeze in before turning around.
Go.
Maybe that means heading higher on the mountain. Maybe you ski terrain the whole family wouldn’t normally tackle together. Maybe you stop for coffee without watching the clock.
Meanwhile, your child is having a completely different day.
They’re skiing or riding with kids their own age. Following an instructor. Trying the same turn until it finally clicks. Maybe they’ve already made a friend and completely forgotten you exist.
Good.
More time for them to learn without feeling rushed. More time for you to experience Crystal on your terms.
When you meet again later, they’ll have their day to tell you about.
And you’ll have yours.

Fewer Pieces to Put Together
We’ve also made the practical side easier.
Kids Group Lesson Packages can bundle instruction, lift access, and rental equipment together, rather than asking you to assemble every piece separately.
The same distinction applies to our new 6-Day options. 6-Day Lesson Bundles include six lessons, while 6-Day Lesson Bundle Packages include six lessons, lift access, and rentals.
Full-day Kids Group Lesson options include lunch, and every Kids Group Lesson also includes a complimentary parking reservation for the lesson date.
Lesson Packages Make It Easy
- Expert instruction
- Lift access
- Rental equipment
- Lunch with full-day options
- Complimentary parking reservation
Already have lift access and gear? Lesson-only options are available too.
The new 6-Lesson Bundles also create savings compared with purchasing the equivalent standalone lessons. Families can save up to $106 on half-day lessons or up to $257 on full-day lessons when they bundle.
There are enough moving parts when you’re getting your family to the mountain. Your child’s lesson doesn’t need to add another layer.
What Parents Can Expect This Winter
The goal of Kids Group Lessons hasn’t changed.
We want your child to improve. To leave more confident than when they arrived. To spend enough time on snow that something unfamiliar starts to feel natural.
What we changed is everything around that experience.
- More flexibility in when you use your lessons.
- More ways to build a Crystal day around your family.
- Full-day options that give your child more time to learn and you more time to ski.
- Six-lesson bundles that let you build your own progression.
- Lesson Packages that can include lift access, rentals, lunch, and parking.
Because a ski season rarely unfolds exactly as planned.
There will be missed weekends. Last-minute changes. Mornings when the clouds lift, the mountain opens up, and a spontaneous trip to Crystal is irresistible.
This year, your lesson schedule can move with it.
The kids still get structure. You get more freedom.
Now you just have to decide which days are Crystal days.
