Mexican Caribbean sunshine returns – Blog

Family

After two days of rain brought by Hurricane Helene which passed near the coast of the Mexican Caribbean, we are happy to report that the sun is shining and all resort services are up and running for Royal Resorts members and guests to enjoy.

At The Royal Sands and The Royal Cancun, the pools are open and families can enjoy the full range of activities offered by the Activity Center and Kids Club teams. The Royal Sands Aqua Park is now open for endless fun in the water. People are enjoying the beaches, but the red flags are still flying as a precaution to prevent them from going into the sea due to the possibility of ocean swells.

At Grand Residences, guests are enjoying the beach and pools. The restaurants, pool bar and lobby bar are operating normally, but Heaven beach bar is closed. All other resort services are available.

At The Royal Haciendas, all resort services, restaurants and bars are open for guests to enjoy. Guests are having fun in the four pools and with the daily Activity Center and Kids Club programs. Access to the beach in both phases of the resort is still closed in order to remove storm debris.

Guests can call in at the Thomas More Travel desk at their resort to find out about parks and other activities in the local area.

We hope that our guests on property will enjoy the rest of their stay with us, and we are ready to welcome incoming members and guests. As always, there are delicious new dining options for them to discover and new services to enjoy.
