Family fun at Royal Resorts, a world of activities
Long walks on the beach, splash time, snorkeling … days packed full of fun activities for all ages, there’s always plenty to do for a family vacation at Royal Resorts.
Beach or pool? That’s the question raised every morning over breakfast and the best family decision is invariably to spend time at both. From sand castles for the little ones to beach soccer and volleyball for the teens, enjoy a morning on our sunny Caribbean shores followed by lunch and games on the pool deck. All the resorts have family pools and children’s pools, there is a water play area for children at The Royal Haciendas and a family Aqua Park at The Royal Sands.
For more aquatic fun, there are sail boats and kayak tours and The Royal Cancun offers paddle boards for enjoying the still waters of the bay.
Call in at the Sports Desk to make sailboat and kayak reservations and to sign up for bike tours. If your family enjoys tennis and pickleball, rackets, balls and courts are available for more fun.
The daily activities lined up for the family at the Activity Center and Kids Club offer hours of entertainment. The programs include sports, games and keep fit sessions and arts and crafts for adults, teens and children. Treasure hunts, pirate face painting and a piñata party, younger children will have so much fun at the Kids Club (ages four to 12 years), they won’t want to leave!
For family days out, Thomas More Travel, the on-site travel agency, offers a varied collection of amazing travel experiences ranging from snorkeling trips and catamaran cruises to the famous nature parks in the Riviera Maya, jungle zip lining and cenote swims for older children and visits to the area’s archaeological sites and historic towns.
