The Activities and Food & Beverages teams at our resorts are always planning new, fun activities for you to enjoy on your next trip. Here is a selection of the latest activities, be sure to try them and make even more memories.
Members Wine & Cheese
Members at The Royal Sands are invited to a Wine & Cheese Party on Monday at 4 p.m. in Sidelines Bar. A selection of wines, cheeses, cold cuts and bread are served and there is live music.
Reservations in the Members Lounge. This event is included for members with the All-Inclusive package and there is a charge for members staying on the European Plan (room only).
Make your own Pizza
Make your own pizza and toss it like the best Italian pizza chefs. The Miamare team at The Royal Sands will show you how in a fun class in Sidelines Bar on Fridays.
You get to make your own dough, roll it and then add the toppings. US$10 per person.
Beach BBQ at The Royal Cancun
This is a great way to enjoy an evening of outdoor dining, a selection of delicious grill favorites, a lovely view and Caribbean ambiance. Don’t miss it!
After your meal, order an after-dinner cocktail, a glass of wine or an aperitif and enjoy the evening. You’ll see the pirate galleons sailing across the bay and their battle ends in a crescendo of cannon fire and fireworks.
Kids Party at The Royal Sands Aqua Park
If you are staying at The Royal Sands bring your children to the Aqua Park Kids Party on Friday at 1 p.m. for plenty of splashy fun, candies, cupcakes and more.
Check out the pool deck food carts
More tasty lunch specials are served up from the food carts on the pool deck at The Royal Sands and The Royal Cancun and the beachside food truck at The Royal Cancun, daily from 12 to 3 p.m.
Catch of the day at Grand Residences
If you are going to be staying at Grand Residences, don’t miss Nautical Night on Thursdays for a selection of delicious seafood and be sure to ask your waiter about the catch of the day.
Additionally, every 15 days, Grand Residences Chef Arturo Muñoz sources a huge grouper or snapper straight off the Puerto Morelos fishing boats and shows guests how to prepare Tikinxic, Maya-style grilled fish. He cleans the fish and marinates it with achiote and Seville orange juice, tops it with sliced tomatoes, onion and bell peppers and pops it on the grill. If you are a fish fan you’ll enjoy this beachside lunchtime event.
Karaoke time
Sing along to your favorite songs on Tuesday and Thursday at Sidelines Bar in The Royal Sands and Tuesday at La Rotonda Bar in The Royal Haciendas. There is also Kids Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday at The Royal Sands, 6 – 8 p.m. in Sidelines Bar and on Friday at The Royal Haciendas.
Silent Party
Dance to your favorite playlist at the Silent Party, now at The Royal Sands on Friday at 8 p.m., and on Thursday at The Royal Cancun and The Royal Haciendas.
And at The Royal Haciendas, Saturday night is Disco Night with the DJ in La Rotonda Bar, don’t miss it.
Kids Mocktail Mixology
Children can learn how to make their own fruit drinks at The Royal Haciendas, Thursday, 12 -1 p.m. in the Aqua Park. For children aged 5 to 11 years, two mocktail (no alcohol) recipes per class. Reservations in the Activity Center.
Grand Residences also has a new mocktail class for children on Thursdays.
Kayaks and Tournaments at The Royal Haciendas
The popular kayaks are back at The Royal Haciendas and be sure to sign up for the new soccer and basketball tournaments on the multisports court.
Pickleball
Playa pickleball on the courts at The Royal Sands, The Royal Haciendas and Grand Residences.
