Sommerro extends offering with launch of Villa Inkognito

Norway: Launching in April 2023, Villa Inkognito will open next door to Sommerro in the centre of Frogner in Oslo’s West End.

Villa Inkognito will be housed in a former private residence, which was originally built in 1870 as an office space for Oslo Lysverker administration, the city’s original electrical company. In 1980 the building was occupied by the Algerian embassy.

Following a renovation by GrecoDeco, the property will relaunch as an 11-suite private villa, available to book in its entirety. It will provide a library, living room, a dining room, an open kitchen, bar, fitness room and outdoor area.

The interiors will feature a mix of antiques, original artwork, and classic Scandinavian furnishings. Some of the bedroom furnishings will be custom made.

Guests will gain full access to all the amenities and services at Sommerro, which offers seven restaurants and bars, meeting and event spaces, a 100-seat gilded theatre, wellness space, and a year-round rooftop pool, sauna and terrace.

Sommerro, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Legend Collection, is an independent property from Nordic Hotels & Resorts. The hotel opened in September 2022 and includes 231 rooms with 56 branded residences.
