A Wesleyan chapel has been converted into a boutique hotel in the heart of Camden. The Wesley Camden Town was completed following £9 million of investment and a two-year construction period.

The mixed-use site sees boutique hotel rooms come together with a regenerated worship and community space. Renovated in collaboration with Manolo & White Architects and the church on the lower ground floor of the building, The Wesley now comprises 38 brand-new guestrooms alongside renovated community spaces.

The historic facade of the property has also been maintained, while interior designs are modern and contemporary, created by HLM Architects to reflect the vibrancy of the Camden area. Guestrooms are an eclectic mix of colours and patterns, with geometric shapes and primary colours dotted across the space, as well as Camden-themed art adorning the walls.

The Wesley Camden Town is the first UK sister property to The Wesley Euston, a 100-room hotel and conference centre. Both properties operate with sustainability at their core, with The Wesley Euston awarded the Social Enterprise Mark in 2010.
