SALT LAKE CITY, Utah—Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown announced a renovation spanning the property’s guestrooms, dining outlets, lobby, fitness center, and pool. The project is expected to be completed in early 2024.
“We are delighted to reveal to our guests, the refreshed look and feel of the hotel”, says John Green, general manager, Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown. “Our location has always made Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown a great choice for travelers, and with the completion of our renovation coming near, the hotel will be on par with other properties in the core of the convention, business, and leisure activities of our vibrant downtown area.”
Salt Lake City’s tourism market has grown in recent years, bringing hotels, retail stores, and entertainment venues to the city’s downtown area. In response, the recent investment in Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown will position the property to meet the demand for rooms in an expanding hospitality market.
Hale Collective is the design firm behind the project. A major change at the property will be the addition of a new Executive Club Lounge. Located off of the lobby, guests staying in Executive Club Level rooms and suites will have access to a chef’s kitchen serving a breakfast bar, canapés, and snack offerings. The new space will have community tables and lounge spaces with a modern atmosphere.
The property will also welcome updated dining concepts, including Coffee & Market, a new coffee bar concept. A newly designed market will stand alongside it. Copper Canyon Grill House & Tavern, the hotel’s on-site restaurant, will also receive a few upgraded touches as part of the exciting changes to arrive at the property, including the expansion of a seasonal patio.
