Firmdale Hotels’ third New York property opens in Tribeca

Just like its sister New York properties, Crosby Street and The Whitby, Warren Street Hotel comes with the bright and bold interior design of Kit Kemp Design Studio.

A reflection of the area

First distinguished by its blue exterior and bright yellow top, before then revealing its bright and bold interiors, Warren Street Hotel aims to provide an ‘adventure for the eye’ along with intuitive comfort for guests.

The hotel places guests at the heart of the historic Tribeca neighbourhood, which is recognised for its red-brick warehouses and cobbled streets and now home to an abundance of restaurants, cafes and galleries.

Warren Street Hotel reflects these surroundings, known to have been the city’s textiles hub in the 19th century, through the integration of fabrics, designed and found by Kit Kemp as well as from her latest collaborations with Christopher Farr Cloth, GP&J Baker and Spode.

Art filled interiors

The hotel houses 69 individually designed rooms, suites and residences, which all feature Kit Kemp’s signature use of colours, textures and fabrics, with design details including intricately embellished headboards and bespoke lighting. Several suites also come with a landscaped terrace and garden.

A highlight of the property is its 150-cover modern brasserie Warren Street Bar & Restaurant. Here, diners can expect a classic menu of globally inspired dishes in a space where each wall is lined with artworks.

Eclectic artworks feature throughout the entire property, with specific pieces including the works of sculptors Tony Cragg and Wendell Castle. Creativity permeates each and every space, with Kit Kemp’s ‘Tall Trees’ fine bone china tableware, designed for Spode, used in the restaurant.
